What are your opening hours?
Our adventure golf is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 9.30pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am – 8.30pm. The last session starts 45 minutes before closing.
Are you closed on any days?
We’re open all year round, with two exceptions: we’re closed on Christmas Day (25 December), and on Boxing Day (26 December) we’re open 9am – 5pm.
What are your opening hours on Easter Sunday?
The same as any other Sunday — 9am – 8.30pm.
How many holes are on the course?
18 unique holes, suitable for all player levels — complete with sound, lights and moving dinosaurs.
How long does a round take?
Typically 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your group size and pace of play.
How do you play?
The aim is to complete every hole in as few shots as possible — lowest score wins. Take turns putting towards the hole, count your shots on the scorecard, then add them up at the end.
Is the equipment included?
Yes — every player gets a club and a ball, with shorter clubs for children and longer ones for grown-ups.
Can I turn up on the day, or do I have to book online?
Walk-ins are welcome, though there may be a short wait at busy times. We recommend booking online to skip the queue — you can book on our Tickets page.
Can children play, and do they need a ticket?
Children of all ages are welcome, and every child needs a ticket. There are two children’s tickets: under 5 and under 13.
Does an adult need to play with the children?
Children must be supervised by a playing parent or guardian. Ages 12–16 don’t need an adult to play alongside them.
I have more children than adults — is there a ticket for that?
Yes — the family ticket covers 2 adults + 2 youngsters, or 1 adult + 3 youngsters. Any extra players can be added with individual tickets.
Do you offer group or family discounts?
Yes. A group of four adults is £45, a family of four is £39, and a ticket for one adult and one child (under 13) is £20. See our Tickets page for all prices.
Do you offer concessions, carer or NHS discounts?
Yes — a concessions ticket is available with proof such as a Blue Light card or carer ID. It covers the cardholder plus one other person.
We’re a large group — can we all play together?
Each scorecard fits up to 6 players. Outside peak times larger groups can often play together; when it’s busy we may ask you to split into groups of up to 6 to keep play moving.
Is parking available?
Yes — free on-site parking at Hedge End Golf Centre. As you drive in, ours is the first parking area you see.
Some or none of us drive — what’s the best way to get there?
You can take the Bluestar 24 (Eastleigh / Southampton Airport Parkway) or the Bluestar 3 (Southampton city centre). Timetables can change, so please check a local journey planner before you travel.
What’s your address?
Upper Northam Road, Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire, SO30 4BZ.
Do you have a soft play area?
Yes — there’s an indoor soft play area for toddlers, free for all visitors, open the same hours as the golf course (Monday to Friday 9am – 9.30pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 8.30pm).
What is a Playpack?
A Playpack is a dinosaur-themed activity pack for children, presented in a Mighty Adventures branded drawstring bag. Inside you’ll find a Mighty Claws Adventures storybook plus little goodies — stickers, puzzles, mini games and a small toy — to keep younger guests entertained.
Is there somewhere to get food and drinks?
Yes. The Longship café & bar serves pizzas, shakes, drinks and our own craft ale, with a kids’ menu, a reading area and an interactive play wall.
Are toilet facilities available?
Yes, there are full toilet facilities at the venue.
Are dogs allowed?
Only guide dogs are allowed on the course. Other dogs, sadly, can’t come in.

Do you offer team building or corporate packages?
Yes — options include semi-private space, food, drinks and adventure golf. Get in touch and we’ll send the corporate brochure and arrange a call back.
We’re a mix of under and over 18s — can you cater for that?
Yes. Let us know how many are under 18 and the team will advise on options, such as milkshakes instead of alcoholic drinks.
Are the dinosaurs dangerous?
Generally no — though they have been known to eat particularly naughty children in the past.
