To draw a Tyrannosaurus Rex, you will need:
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Paper
- Coloured pencils or crayons
T-Rex top tip: Use a pencil, just in case you don’t get it right first time.
- Start with a large oval for the body and a smaller circle for the head.
- Join them with a curved neck, then add the big, powerful back legs and the long, heavy tail for balance.
- Add the tiny arms, the open jaw full of teeth, and a beady eye.
- Go over your lines, rub out the rough guides, and colour in your mighty T-Rex.
Did you know?
Tyrannosaurus probably had a mouth full of rotten meat. All that bacteria with no toothbrush and no flossing means T-Rex’s bite could have actually been poisonous.
