Make your own dinosaur face mask

A bright illustration of a happy child wearing a homemade dinosaur face mask at a craft table, with more cut-out masks and crayons.

Rainy afternoon? Turn the living room into the Mesozoic Era with a homemade dinosaur mask.

You will need:

  • A sheet of card or thick paper
  • Scissors
  • A hole punch
  • String or thin elastic
  • Pencils, pens or paints

How to do it:

  1. Draw a big dinosaur face onto your card — go as fierce or as friendly as you like
  2. Add colour with your pencils, pens or paints
  3. Cut around the edge nice and close
  4. Cut out the eyes
  5. Hole punch the sides of the mask
  6. Tie some string or elastic through the holes
  7. Fit the mask on your little dinosaur
  8. Time to growl, stomp and chomp in true Jurassic style

Pop in and show us your mask on your next visit — we love a good roar.
